Fixed: File loading time (no longer loads file line by line which slowed the

Well, I must say I'm disappointed. I often open several files at once
which is why I requested the tabbed interface. Guess I'll have to
stick to editpad lite.

I may consider converting it some time in the future but at the moment, it's
simply more trouble than it's worth as it will mean completely re-coding it
from scratch, which will be extremely time consuming and unfortunately, I
have other projects that I need to focus on, not to mention, trying to solve
my financial situation which at present, is a top priority for me.

Have been using version 1.0 for a bit and after your post above I'm now
downloading the latest version. Been using it instead of Notepad for
pages I have been playing with,

Tiger,

Have you tried WordTabs?

Wordtabs is also a tabbed text editor plus other features such as a spell
checker often found in the payware versions of various text editors (e.g.
the payware version of EditPad).

I have both Editpad Classic and WordTabs on my PC but I rarely use EditPad
Classic anymore. For links, search for the recent posts on Wordtabs.

At one time, WordTabs was on the pricelessware list. It is still
pricelessware IMHO.

Can't Steven just drop by Alan,
offer him a pint - and get his source code? ;)
