Account Locked out

On my Win XP Pror m/c, I have a few user accounts (plus an
admin account). I generally use the user account GT for
day to day work. One fine morning, my PC wont let me in
with GT (account locked out, contact your admin). I logged
in as Admin and reset the password for GT but still GT can
not log in. Is there a separate way of unlocking the
accounts on XP

Maybe you can fix this via the MMC. If not, try a system restore.

Was there any mention about why the account was disabled? Event Viewer may
have some details and you may be able to adjust the lockout conditions for the
every day account by using Group or Local Policy Editor (NOTE: Many policy
changes won't take effect until the next time the system starts.) Also, here are
