Accidentally Deleted EMail Distribution List in Outlook 2007

Michael

I wanted to delete ONE address in my Email Distribution Group, so clicked on
the "X" which, you guessed it, deleted the ENTIRE GROUP!
Is there any way to reload the group from my backup .pst file?
Any other thoughts on how to get it back?

Also, any way to disable that "X" which, when I've highlighted just one
name, looks like the "delete" single address symbol and not "delete" all-m-
data-and-make-me-weep symbol! ;-)

Thanks so much!

Why can't you just retrieve it from your Deleted Items Folder? That's where
it goes when you delete it.
The Delete icon in a DL has always deleted the entire DL, not a member. It
cannot be changed. Use the Remove icon instead to remove a member.
To retrieve the DL from your backup file, just open that file and copy the
DL from it.

THANK YOU! It's all there. Thought that was just for deleted emails. Much
appreciated! Michael

I can't find my deleted distributionlist in the Deleted Items Folder.

Then it is gone. Restore from your most recent backup.
