ACCIDENTAL DUAL OS WHEN UPGRADING

I TRIED TO UPGRADE MY NEW COMPUTER FROM THE 98E IT HAD TO
W2000 PRO AND IT SHOWED THE W2000 INSTALING AND ALL - BUT
NOW IT SEEMS THAT I HAVE BOTH - 98E AND W2000??? WHAT
HAPPENED HERE AND HOW CAN I FIX IT? PLUS THE WIN 2000
DOES'T WORK BECAUSE IT DOESN'T FIND MY MODEM NOW! THANKS. M

Please loose the caps. You can boot with your Win98 startup disk and issue
the command
sys C:
this will rewrite the boot sector, then you can delete these files boot.ini,
ntldr, ntdetect.com, bootsect.dos, pagefile.sys and possibly ntbootdd.sys
from the root of the System partition C:\., then you can delete the Windows
2000 boot partition or \winnt directory which ever the case.
