Accessing Windows

Nothing on my PC will load - it comes up immediately with
a dialogue box saying "Owner" and requesting a Password.
I assume this is something to do with an administrator
protected account - but I've never had one!
Can you help please - thanks

What does "immediately" mean? Does it mean "right at
boot time", when the BIOS messages float past, or does
it mean "after Win2000 has gone through its startup
process"?

??? This is Windows XP Home behavior

In XP Home the Owner account was created when you
finished the install, or during the mini-imstall at first start
after receiving the machine.
