Accessing secured sites

Hi,
I'm using Windows Me in my Pc.Suddenly I'm not able to
access secured sites through Internet Explorer.Earlier I
was able to do that.I tried all the options like resetting
the security selections etc even reinstalling the IE.But
all invain.Can anybody suggest what is the solution for
this.
I'll be grateful.
