Accessing secure servers

Whilst using internet explorer, I can access any site
except for ones with a secure server (https://). I have
checked that my computer has 128 bit encryption. Does
anyone know of a setting that I have to change to enable
me to be able to access secure sites. I cannot even get to
download service pack 2 as all I get is page cannot be
displayed.

I would suggest going to Internet Options, Security page, highlight
Trusted Sites and click the Sites button, then add the site to the
Trusted list.
