Accessing another computer??

Is accessing another computer using MSN (I think it is called remote
access) is a feature of WindowsXP or MSN?? if it is a feature from the
OS (WinXP) what does it call and what type of communication/protocol
etc is used to do it??
 
Open Help and Support on the Start Menu, type Remote Access into the search
box and press enter. You will find step by step instructions for using this
feature as well as an explanation of its purpose.
