It is possible to access a windows XP Pro machine from Windows 2000 or can you only access an XP Pro machine using Remote Desktop? Or are there any other solutions?

Al, I had that reversed, I wanted to access the Win 2000 machine from an XP Pro, do I need to have a 3rd party software? and is XP Pro the only one that can be set up as the host with remote desktop?
In that case look at the UltraVNC and NetMeeting RDS choices. If this is over the public internet
then keep in mind VNC is *NOT* encrypted which means a possible security risk. You might want to run
VNC through a VPN tunnel as a work around... Over a LAN VNC may be the better choice of the two.
