Access97 on XP SP2 with 1 GB RAM: not enough memory

Hi guys

When I try to run Access 97 on a brand new HP machine with P4, 1GB RAM, I
get the message that there is not enough memory and Access crashes right
away. Jet engine version 4.0.8618.0 is installed.

Any hints?

The problem occurs before and after connecting the machine to the domain.

The problem was solved by installing Access from a complete office pro CD
and not from the access only CD version. Nobody knows why it works now, but
it works. We are used to that aren't we? If anybody knows why, I'd still be
happy for a comment.
