Why do I get "out of Memory" message running Access97 in XP

I bought new Dell Dimension 8400 system with 1 GB memory running Windows XP
Media Edition. I migrated all my apps and files to it from my old computer.
One of the apps is MS Office 97 Professional. I can run all of the Office 97
programs except Access. When I try to run Access, the logo comes up, but
immediately a small box pops up stating "Out of Memory" Try closing some
open programs. I have over 590 MB of available RAM. I tried using the
Compatibility wizard to run it as Windows 95 program, but it does not work.
Any suggestions?

Access 97 will not run on a computer with 1 GB
or more of RAM UNLESS you install the latest JET service pack.
