How do you open files in Access 2002 or lower and convert to 2003? I have no

depending on the complexity
of the database, it is not always
a true conversion and sometimes
requires some fine tuning when
importing an older database
into a higher version.

however what is true to all versions
is the data tables. in fact
data tables are also accessible
by word and excel too.

any version of access can
access a data table and import
the data or can link to the data.

the problem is the forms
and reports that contain designed
with older programming language
and is not recognized by newer
versions and the more advanced
programming language.

but a good database programmer
can easily make the modification.

Access 2003 will open files from any previous version. Access 2002
wouldn't have any "knowledge" of Access 2003.
