Access User-level Security - changing the shortcut?

Some years ago I wrote a database for a small organisation, deliberately
leaving it open for continued development. While I was abroad someone tied
it up tightly with user-level security. I have the shortcut but it goes to
the wrong MSOffice on my PC. How can I change this? The shortcut apparently
has 3 lines in it (to Access. to the workgroup and to the .mdw file) and I
need to change line 1. I have all the passwords etc if only I could start the
opening routine!

Sorry, forgot to say I'm using Access 2002. And I'm a bit nervous about
simply changing the name of my Program files....

It is as simple as changing the path to msaccess.exe

If you're really concerned, make a copy of the MDB and try pointing to the
copy of the MDB instead, just to see that nothing bad can happen.

right-click on the shortcut, select properties.
Edit the Target field to point to the new ms-office file,.
save, run.
