The problem occurs when i try to logon to a winnt 4.0
server from a windows 2000 pro PC. When I map the drive
it says 'The domain password you supplied is not correct
or access to your logon server has been denied'. The
password AND usernames are okay, no restrictions. I have
roaming profile and no matter which PC I try to do this on
in does not work. similar to microsoft knowledge base
272594. however this only covers windows ME and windows
98.

any suggestions?

Your question is unclear. Is this server a member of a domain or a
standalone server? Does the account you are connecting with exist on the
server/domain? Are you trying to connect from a client participating in a
domain to a server that is not?

Which username and password? No restrictions on what: the client?
