Access shuts down when opening a query

Access 2002, SP-2

I've been building tables, queries, and modules for a few
weeks, and suddenly the file is acting wierdly.

When I try to open some (not all) queries in design or
view mode, the Access application quits.

I've tried Debug and Compile Modules. I've tried Repair
and Compact into a new filename. No luck so far.

Any suggestions?

I have almost the same issue. I open a new or complete
database and any usage causes errors. Attempted your
thoughts without avail and alos reregistered selected dlls
and totally unistall and reistnall access also no success.
