Access - On-line Tutorial/Learning

Hi,

Can anyone recommend any good online introductions to Access? I'm on a mac
at home so don't have Access on my computer, but I'm wanting to learn as
much as I can before I return to work on Tuesday.

Primarily queries, as my work needs are mainly analysing & interrogating
large amounts of data and Excel is a little unwieldy in this regard (at
least in my hands :)

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Hi Jason,

How's this for starters?

HOW TO: Convert a Select Query to an Action Query in Access 2000

Note: You can ignore the "Access 2000" in the titles of these articles. The
information is equally valid for other versions of Access.

And, since you mentioned analyzing large amounts of data, you might want to
experiment with Crosstab Queries, for summarizing. Crosstab Queries are read
only:

A book that you should definately consider purchasing is "SQL Queries for
Mere Mortals", written by John Viescas and Michael Hernandez.

Good Luck, and happy reading,
