Access License Problem

I have been using Office 97 Access to maintain the memberships of our local
Fire Company Social Quarters. I have purchased a new computer and
reinstalled Office 97. Word works fine. Excel works fine. When I start up
Access I get a notice that a license for Access is not available. It was
working fine on the old computer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office
97 Professional a couple of times and still get this error. I have re-booted
each time. What is the problem?

Well known bug. Do a search on Microsoft's web site for the fix. If you
search on the exact message you receive you should find it without a
problem.

do a search for hatten font. rename to hatten.sav

search for access.exe (not the 97 version!) rename to access.2k

re-install access 97- into separate folder, not current microsoft office
folder

go back and change hatten.sav to hatten.ttf and access.2k to access.exe

that should do it!
