Access license for Server2003?

If the BackEnd of a split Access license is to be on a machine with Windows
Server 2003 for Small Business Servers - does it require an Access license?

- - - - or does one simply use it as a file server and the license(s) are
located at the desktops?
 
ok thanks - - so even without have an Access license on the Server it will
still function ok in terms of linking the tables found on the back
end?...wasn't sure if that was so....

Yes. It's the same situation as putting .xls or .doc files on the
server. You don't need Excel or Word on the server.
