Access is denied error (again!!)

I was getting access deniedmessages. I searched and found the
following.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308421/en-us

This worked ok for a while, but now the problem has returned. I can
open folders clicking on the icon in the left frame of Explorer, and
also by right-clicking and selecting open on the icon in the right
frame, but this is very tedious.

I am running XP home - SP2.

Hi Charlie,

If you're able to access the folder then it's not a permissions problem.
Should be something else, perhaps the association settings.
