Access file problem with ASP.NET

I left a message here on about 24 March, it had one response, then a reply
from me. Now its gone. The same thing happened with the message I left on
the Win 2000 thread.

My problem is that I had an ASP.NET app which read user names from an Access
file. This worked fine for over two years, the suddenly stopped after
Windows Update patches were applied.

Why have my messages disappeared? Why can't I find anything about this at
the MSDN site?

The posts are still here. I just downloaded and read them. Perhaps you need
to make sure that "Show All Messages" is checked.

Most patches can be uninstalled. The ones for XP reside in the root of the
Windows folder. You should go to the newsgroup for your operating system and
possibly an ASP.NET newsgroup to find the problem. It definitely isn't
Access or a regular asp problem. I have fully patched web server that is
running asp (not asp.net) and which uses an Access database that runs fine.

Suddenly it works again, nothing was changed. 10 days after it stopped, it
started again.
