Access file freezes

One of my MS Access Project (.adp) file freezed when I open it - no error
message - I am able to create a new one but can't import forms and code from
the old one.

Please help.

Quite a few things can cause this. It's difficult to troubleshoot without
more information to go on. It could be an infinite loop in a code module,
or a long-running query executing as soon as the database opens, or . . . .

I am able to create a new one but can't import forms and code from
the old one.

What error message are you receiving when you attempt to import the forms
and code modules from the old project to a new one? Are these forms and
code modules missing or greyed out from the Import Objects Wizard list box,
preventing you from selecting them for import?
