Access doesn't ask me if I want to convert frm 97 to 2003 anymore

I have an Access 97 database that I couldn't convert to 2003. Now I can, but
when I open the file it doesn't ask me if I want to convert. When I call up
the file it says it is in (Access 97 file format). How do I convert this now?
 
Open Access 2003 first and then select the file, don't double click on the
file it probably openning Access 97 with this file and this is why it doesn't
prompt you with the question if you want to convert your mdb
 
Open A2003, without opening any database.

Go to:
Tools | Database Utilities | Convert.
