Access denied

Sometimes when I try to open folders or do other tasks on my computer, I get
the message access denied and can not continue. It's my computer and wonder
what I can do to fix this problem?? I am the system administrator, so why
does it do this?? Please help me with this, thank you.
 
Is it always the same folders? Look up "take ownership of file or
folder" in Windows help and support, and follow the instructions there.
 
Make sure its not in use with some other application, if in doubt REBOOT and
try again.
