Access Denied

Had my folders ecrypted so I can only see the contents and had to reinstall
windows so I reinstalled on a new drive and now in the new install I can't
access the information. Is there a way I can access the information? Do I
have to have the same log in name? I don't have the old windows on the drive
anymore either. I am receiving the message when trying to access my old
document folder under user accounts and settings off of explorer. I tried
right clicking on the folder and go to properties and change the security or
right click on the folder and select securities and sharing and nothing
happens. I did disable simple file sharing from the folder view option. What
more can I try or do? I have administrative privilages also...

Did you really use Windows Encryption? Did you remember to backup your
encryption keys off the hard drive? If not, the files are probably
