Access denied?

I re-installed my Windows XP today, and I had decrypted all the encrypted files before installing. But after installing, when I wanted to encrypt them again, system told me that "Access is denied"! I loged in as administrator, and have gained full control of that NTFS disk (and folders). Doesn't full control include "ENCRYPT"? Why did that happen? what should I do?

You may have to take ownership of these files. Have you done that?
