Access denied

Hi, My situation is that
I have a window 2003 server which is the DCof root domain
test.com, another win2k server is the DC of subdomain
sub.test.com

I found that when I try to vertify the trust relationship
on AD , it always said 'access denied' and try to reset
the security channel. I have already used the command
nltest to reset the security channel.

I can't use user account on domain test.com to login
sub.test.com as well. and also can't access the resource
on sub.test.com

could anybody help me ? thanks a lot !

York,

I am not too familiar with WIN2003 so this may not apply.
Could it be that there is a WIN2003 "domain mode" that you
are using that does not allow any WIN2000 DCs? What is
the "domain mode"? For example, in WIN2000 we have
Native Mode and Mixed Mode. Native Mode essentially does
not allow any WINNT 4.0 BDCs whereas Mixed Mode does.

Hi, Cary,

My window environment is an window2003 mix mode
environment. Do you think the mode will influence the
access ?
