I am a new user of Access, I need to send a link of my database via Outlook

I assume you mean you're just trying to send your DB to someone via
Outlook because otherwise we are talking about putting Access on the
Web which is a whole nother ball of wax. To send your database to
someone, first do a compact and repair to reduce the size
(Tools>Database Utilities>Compact and Repair Database), then Zip the
database (right click on MDB file>Send To>Compressed Zip Folder), then
attach the database to an email and off you go.

Could you explain what you mean by "a link of"? Do you want a remote
user to be able to open and edit your database, or send them a copy of
it, or what?

Thanks for the help - that worked, I needed to send a 3rd party my database
via email not the Web - excellent advise.
