Access 2007 Runtime

Does anyone have information on a runtime edition of Access 2007, for
example where I can find it?

I have downloaded the ISO for Access 2007 (where it was previously located
in the 2003 version) but I have
been unable to locate it.

As far as I know, it hasn't been released yet. This isn't particularly
surprising, since Access 2007 was just released, and the runtime version has
always trailed the "normal" version by a month or two.

I would expect that it'll be included in (likely) a new version of Visual
Studio Tools for Office, just like it was for Access 2003.

Note: There's a free download "Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Tools for the
2007 Microsoft Office System" currently available at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...b3-6fd6-4955-b979-e1676db6b3cb&DisplayLang=en
but as far as I'm aware, it does NOT include the Access 2007 runtime. My
understanding is that it's intended to provide the ability to work with the
Ribbon. (You'll notice that the "Feature highlights" section does not
mention Access.)

the AccessRT.msi was also included on the Office 2003 Professional disk
the day that it shipped right?

you should just use that; MS obviously doesn't give a crap about the
ART market; I mean; it's completely impractical to install applications
in this manner; needing to create an installer so that you can merely
install a couple of database applications

so I say '**** microsoft' and see if the AccessRT.msi is also included
on the Office 2007 disk.
