accepting & automatic updates for tasks on outlook 2003 SP2

I am not able to accept tasks anymore once i get an email prompting me to
accept or decline a task. when i click on either "accept" or "decline"
nothing happens. i cant even open the email. also, when i a assign a task
to someone and receive the reply, the task in the tasklist does not
automatically update itself like it should. instead, the task still shows
the "still waiting for response". i already tried the detect & fix feature
in the help menu. still not working. please help.

I have the same problem and Bradford gave a reply to my post that he also has
this problem. We both have accepted the 3x automatic security updates. 2 of
my collegues have encountered the same problem on an complete other machine
and network. I hope some one can help us.

I have the same problem will ALL my computers. it was effected by the update
last week. i see Microsoft MVP's responding to these questions. WHen is it
going to be fixed?

below this one. If i hear anything I will keep you and rldjda informed.
