Unread Task in Outlook

I received a task request in Outlook, but deleted the emailed request without
accepting or declining. Now there is one unread task when I'm looking at the
folder list, but the task I deleted isn't listed on my actual task list. How
can I delete the "unread task" in the folder list?

Right click the Tasks folder and select Mark all as Read. There's a bug in
2003 and 2007 that leaves Tasks marked unread when assigned to you.

What view of the Tasks folder are you in? Are you sure the Task is not
there?
