About slipstream

Hi, I was reading some of the posts and I was wondering about Slipstream:

-Do I need again the windows cd to run the installation again or from the
slipstream cd everything will work?
-What about the key ?
-How do I save the service packs on the Hard drive?
-Does it have a limited number of installation times like the original Os cd?

The last question goes on account of the fact that I've been very lucky with
my pc, I have to suggest everybody "Never go buying the newest piece of
hardware specially video cards or sound cards, wait a little longer so any
bugs or problems will get fixed and you won't have to mess with reinstalling
everytime there is a problem"

I am wondering that cause even thou my pc has been working fine I'm about to
get a new video card and sound card, more stable hardware.

Thank's

Slipstreaming is used to 'add' newer files to your original XP files and, in
the process, creating a completely updated version of the Windows XP CD. The
product code will be exactly the same as your original XP CD and your
origianl xp cd remains unaltered.
Slipstreaming is useful if you have the standard XP cd (i.e., it doesn't
contain service pack2) If you have the SP2 cd or have downloaded it you can
use slipstream software to 'merge' XP and SP2 together so that when you come
to install XP on your pc SP2 will be automatically installed without you
having to put in the SP2 CD.
