When I tried to perform a disk check with Norton system
doctor I got a message saying that the check will run but
if a problem is found, in order to fix it, Norton has to
have access to the disk "exclusively". Does that mean no
other programs or services running? I exited any programs
on the notification area at the bottom of the screen. But
I could not close messenger because a message told me the
reason was that other programs or services were currently
in use of messenger and to close what ever it is. Is
there a simple way to close what ever is using the disk?
Please, need some help on this. Jeanie
