It just goes of your Hard drive (not really in technical way), every
file/folder you delete still can be retrieved from your HDD, but it is a Very
Very hectic and demanding job for both knowledge and Money = special
software?.
The space which occupied by these files/folders next time you write/create
a new file/folder it will overwrite the old sector/space and occupy it with
new data until next time you delete the data and so on...
Run disk Cleanup and Defrag in safe mode.
