Hi,

Has encountered this nasty homepage hijack? Do you have a
solution? The source of this hijack is even resitive to
editing the appropriate registry keys i.e it changes them
back the next time you open IE 6.0. I've tried all of the
standard progams like ad aware, spy bot etc, none of
which appear to touch this.

Hi,

Managed to answer and solve my own problem just after
posting my query, as set out below.

I downloaded Spyware Blaster and used the various
protection facilities, particulalrly the Tools facility,
where you can replace all of the entries that correspond
to Registry URL values, with your own values,
www.yahoo.co.uk in my case.

When I then ran the latest database update and opened
IE6, yahoo's homepage loaded as my start page. success!!

Hope this helps anyone else who encounters this problem.
