Hi:
While working on someone's PC to remove Spyware/Adware, I
realized their IE's home page is set to about:blank and
can't be reset. The page that is illustrated is similiar
to the one cause by the Ilookup bug. There is no
information that indicates the spyware culprit that I can
see. I have tried to hack the registry to remove
about:blank but it keeps relaunching and I am unable to
determine the cause. Therefore, I am looking for a fix to
this hijacking of the IE homepage setup.
Has anyone seen this? Again, it's very similiar to the
ILOOKUP homepage hijacking.
Thanks,
A
