I have done a full system scan (and yesi found a number of virus's cant be
bothered doing all that crap on my home computer when im doing it at work all
day)

The short answer is you have to "be bothered doing all that crap on my home
computer" especially if you do not want to be making pleas for help like this
one.

If your 'home page' is being hijacked then you will need to install a
spyware detector and remover: I'd recommend that you get Spybot Search and
Destroy and perhaps a second, such as Adaware.

Free download for both are available at:

Run them and make sure you delete all the crud.

In plain English, put the computer back into the box it came in. Sell it.
or give it to someone who will take the responsibility to own a computer
seriously. You do not deserve to own a computer, you irresponsible, lazy
scum. You "can't be bothered" with it, yet you become a threat to everyone
else. Go away. Never touch a computer again.

correct patches and updates because you HAVE NO LIFE AND DO
THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SO please forgive me if i would rather go home and go to the pub or enjoy my

You don't need a life...and since you don't have one you wouldn't know.
Simply installing a good Antivirus program, a firewall, and running spyware
and adware scanners once a week is sufficient. Your ego prevents you from
doing such "menial" tasks. You are a lazy idiot and deserve the problems
you are having. Your arrogance and conceit are surpassed only by your
stupidity.

This is really quite easy to fix and "prevent"!
But right this minute I really can't be bothered explaining it to you.

hello all - "community" isn't really about getting het up, its about where we
are and how we go forwards from here. How we spend our lives, in or out of
the paid-day, is part of life...

I got hit with "about:blank" as well - and I daresay millions do each day.
I took a few hours to sort spread sover several days. I worked this way
1 go to "download.com

I was aaying :
I got hit with "about:blank" as well - and I daresay millions do each day.
I took a few hours to sort spread sover several days. I worked this way
1 get hold of somebody else's machine for 5 minutes
2 go to "download.com" or somewhere of that sort
3 download "CWSHREDDER" to a disk and if needed the tools shown in 4 below
4 on the infected machine, run spyware / adware removal tools. I use
spybot 1.3 and AD-Aware SE 1.05
5 Load CWS to the desktop of the infected machine, install and let it run.
maybe run them all again - you can never check too often !
