A8N SLI Priemium

I have a new computer and I'm trying to learn all the new stuff my old
one didn't have.. if anyone could answer a question or three it would
be much appreciated. Its an A8N SLI with an AMD X2 4200 dual core. My
old computer used RDRam.. so all my questions are about the new memory:

1) It has two sticks of 512m corsair ddr 3200. Does it matter if these
are in Slot 1 and 2... I keep seeing posts about people using 1 and
3... ?

2) I note its on '64 bit bus memory'.. is this correct or should it be
on 128?

3) I'm confused about timing (2.5-3-3-5 or whatever) settings. What is
the correct setting for this memory?

4) Ive seen some posts about if you run with four sticks of 512m you
need to run it at 300mzh instead of 400mzh. Is this true? I plan to go
to 2 gigs some day soon.. did I shoot myself in the foot by starting
with two 512 sticks?

thanks in advance

It'll switch to 128, if you use slots 1&3. There are two seperate 64bit
busses. One talks to slots 1&2, and the other, 3&4. If both busses have
memory present, data can be transferred over both at once, giving a 128bit
transfer.
3) I'm confused about timing (2.5-3-3-5 or whatever) settings. What is

Can't tell. You need to check the partnumber/spec of your modules.
Corsair, do both CAS2, and CAS2.5 modules. If your modules say 'C2', they
are CAS2 modules, otherwise CAS2.5. Most of the normal modules are C2.5.
The first figure looks 'right' if this is the case, while the latter
figures are fairly fast (most Corsair modules only do 2.5-4-4-8). If you
put the part number into Corsair's website, it should tell you the
recommended timings.
4) Ive seen some posts about if you run with four sticks of 512m you

330MHz. No. There was a problem in the past that when there was extra
loading on the memory bus of some boards, the speed had to be lowered to
the 330MHz speed, but the current units are normally OK.
