A7N8X-Dleuxe FSB settings?

I just received my MB and and a unlocked XP2500+.
I though that I've read somewhere that the FSB of these board could go
from 133-250Mhz. Mine is only able to go from 133-200Mhz.

Am I mistaken?

My MB is a A7N8X-Deluxe (v2.0) with Bios 1006. I know that there is a Bios
1007 out but when I read about it, it had only a few minor mods that allow
certain types of memory to work with the MB. Does this new bios (1007)
change the FSB setting also, the ones that I read about (133-250mhz)?

Make sure you set all the options like cpu preference to "User" I forget
which option it is in chipset configuration, but if its set to "normal" or
whatever it only gives you very safe speeds.

My MB lists speeds up to 300mhz... yah right I've only been stable at 200
and below so far.

Your cpu has a clock speed of 1833Mhz (166 x 11). Your memory should be
capable of 200FSB. It's best to run the memory and cpu in sync on this mobo.

Therefore, without overclocking, try 200 x 9 = 1800Mhz. However, it is not
guaranteed that your mobo will work with this combination - mine won't go
past 185FSB.

There is also a specific Asus mobo forum here:

I hate when this happens, you answer your own post.

I found out by changing: Advance->Advance Chipset features->System
performance to "User defined" will get me where I needed to be.
