A question on templates in excel

Can we use a "template" for a sheet and when we change the template, the
sheets uses that template updates automatically (like layouts in database
applications). I dont think it's possible but better to ask pros here :)
 
Once you create that new worksheet, all connection to the template is lost.

You can't even tell what template was used to create it.
