a question about Blaster

I have been seeing the blaster worm on multiple pc's.
They all show the symptom of the RPC box that tells you
to shutdown all programs so it can reboot in 60 sec.

What is puzzling me, i run the fix tool from symantec, I
get "no virus found". I run antivirus from another pc, i
get no virus found. I install the patch from microsoft,
and i still get the rpc error and the reboot. Where is
this coming from? or is there still a virus in the pc?
