A program is trying to access e-mail addresses

Every time I attempt to reply or send new email, I get this message...

"A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in outlook.
Do you want to allow this?"

"If this is un-expected, it may be a virus and you should choose no."

"Allow access for [ ?? minute]"

"[YES] [NO] [HELP]" - Buttons on bottom of window.

This problem first appeared after installing XP service pack 2 and the
office XP updates. I have un installed the above updates and the problem
remains. I re-installed the updates, the problem remains. I unistalled all
antivirus software, all anti spam software and my anti spyware software. The
problem remains. I have re-installed Norton Antivirus (Corporate Edition),
Norton Anti Spam and Spybot. I have no idea as to what program is attempting
to access my e-mail addresses in outlook nor do I know how to find out which
program is accessing them.

The only method I can come up with is to reformat and start from scratch
which I am desperately trying to avoid. (shotgun approach)

Does anyone know how I can correct this problem? Help!
