P

Penny

When I open outlook and open my inbox and press send/receive, i get a message
250 or more times that reads "A program is trying to access e-mail addresses
you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this? If this is
unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose "No".

I have to click the "No" about 250 times to make this go away. I have check
everything I can think of to find a program that might be causeing this and i
have security software that checks for virus, spam, etc.

Please help.

Try disabling any Outlook add-ins. Tools | Trust Center | Add-ins if you're
using Outlook 2007.

Actually, now that I think of it, if you have Outlook 2007 and a working a/v
program, it would be unlikely for an add-in to do this. So, if you have an
earlier version, look in Tools | Options | Other | Advanced Options for the
add-in manager.
