A file that is required to run Search Companion cannot be found.

I have recently installed a VB created program on my computer and now when I
try to use search it comes up with "A file that is required to run Search
Companion cannot be found. You may need to run setup." I think it has to do
with one of the .dll files the program installs. Does anyone know what .dll
files the search companion uses? I need to fix the VB program so it doesn't
affect other VB programs.

Hi Jess,

Is this a program you wrote? Is this "search" one that is done using
your program's code or is it the search function in Windows? Also, are
you running XP, 2000 or something older?
