My A drive works perfectly with XP Pro.
What is the brand and model of your floppy drive?
Newly setup or just failed to work suddenly?
If it is a new setup, make sure the power cable and
ribbon cable are connected correctly.
Also check the BIOS to ensure it is enabled.
