98-to-XP upgrade without 98 CD?

Hi,

My HDD got fried and now I need to re-install XP. However, I've realised
that in a bout of cleaning house, I threw out my old Win98 CD set, my XP
discs are upgrades only which require 98 to be installed first.

Is there any way I can get my PC up and running without replacing the old
Win 98 discs? Any suggestions gratefully received!

You can only perform a "clean install" of Windows XP Pro
if you have a qualifying older Windows CD,
such as a Microsoft Windows 98, ME or a Microsoft Windows 2000
CD-ROM. If you do not have a qualifying CD-ROM, you must
use the full retail version of Windows XP.
