98 screensavers in XP

I had screensavers such as Dangerous Creatures and
Aquarium that were working until I upgraded to XP.
Shouldn't the screensavers still work in XP? I also had
Desktop themes control panel item that doesn't seem to
exist now.

XP...give facts.....not jibberish...

I upgraded from a system that had the screensavers and
Plus on it. After upgrade, no longer a Desktop Themes in

So you upgraded from one operating system with its extras (Plus Pack,
themese made for that operating system, etc) and it is not working in your
new operating system? Sounds right to me.. However, here is an article on

No - the screensavers for Windows 98 should NOT still work in Windows XP.
XP also has a "Plus Pack" for sale. However, I do not recommend it. Do a
google search on Windows XP Screensavers and/or Windows XP themes and see
what ones you can find.
