818529 -- Will it cause me Trouble? -- June IE Patch

I'm thinking seriously about instsalling patch 818529 on my XP Home system.
Before I do, I'd like to know if it will cause me any trouble. Has
everybody been okay with this patch?

I recently installed 818529 on my WXPHome, has caused no problem that I know
of.

I did it. So far so good.

Been trying to install this patch for some time now. Keep getting a
message stating that IE6 must be installed to apply this patch. I'm
running XP sp1 with IE6 sp2.

Anyone any ideas?

That's usually MS's way of saying you don't need it because it's already
installed. Have you tried using Windows Update? Is Q818529 listed at IE
Help>About>Update Versions?
