I am using windows NT server
When I try to go to a ftp site my address line drops the
password text and goes to the root of the address.
If I use netscape I can get to the site.
When I use another station that has 98 on it I can reach
the site.

I've installed the 832894 update and I still have the

same problem

Use the File, Login As... menu item when that happens.

You may have to back up to just the domain name to see it.
