64kbps on a portable device

Tony

Hi guys was just wondering if there is any noticeable
difference in a 64kbps WMA compared to a 96kbps WMA file
played on a portable mp3 device through a set of ordinary
earphones? I'm guessing because your only listening
through ear phones you shouldn't notice the difference.
If so that means I can fit more music on my player if i
encode at 64kbps WMA
cheers

It depends on your ears. Encode a file at both bitrates and give it a shot.
