when will 64bit XP come out?
what would be the diffrence between standart 32bit XP and
64bit Xp beside that 64Bit XP will fully suce Athlon 64?

64 Bit version for AMD should ship this summer, according to the rumor mills on the internet. The best thing about it that it will support your native 64-bit as well as 32-bit apps. Until you get a 64-bit app, you won't really need the 64-bit OS

Until then, run Windows XP Pro on the AMD 64. You'll see better performance.

The 64 will require an ATHLON like the one I have. Unless
you are into heavy gaming or prog building, I suggest you
shy away for now. It will not help anything you do today.
If you want pure speed buy the Compaq 6331RSH

There's already a 64bit version for the Intel Itanium processor. It
doesn't have a lot of the "consumer" fancies that you find on 32-bit
XP, since it's expected to be used for servers. There will be a 64-bit
version for AMD Athlon sometime in 2004.

It's already out, for the Intel Itanium chip. The Athlon version
isn't out yet, and as far as I know, no date has yet been
announced. Estimates (*not* promises) are that it should be out
sometime next year.

You'll have to wait for an official announcement from Microsoft.
Anything before that is nothing more than rumor.
